New vision, new growth, new name: Impulse is now Aseva!

Impulse Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Impulse is proud to announce our 20th anniversary of doing business!

For twenty years, Impulse has helped businesses gain a technological advantage by designing, implementing, and managing advanced communications solutions.  What started as a local internet service provider has over the last twenty years transformed into a company that supports an impressive list of businesses through a suite of business communication services delivered over our high availability IP network with hubs in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Chicago.

Impulse owners Ken Alker, Tony Papa, and Jim Pisani reflect on the past twenty years and what the success of Impulse means to them.

“I am infinitely excited that, after twenty years, Impulse continues to provide high-end service to its many customers, some who have been with us for most of those two decades. I am proud of our team members, many of whom have been with us just as long. It is also inspiring to be part of an organization that continues to innovate and help customers achieve maximum productivity in the work place.” – Ken Alker

“I am very proud to reflect on our twenty years of service.  It has been an amazing journey, starting with our geeky humble beginnings selling dial-up internet service at bookstores and coffee shops.  From the very beginning, our core objective has been consistent and clear – provide our customers with high-touch, personal support and quality communications services.” -Tony Papa

“Most businesses begin with a goal to be built to last.  The reality is that very few businesses are fortunate to celebrate a first, second or maybe third anniversary.  Impulse celebrating twenty years of service is truly a reflection of the efforts and accomplishments of an outstanding group of people.  I am proud to be associated with the Impulse team.  We have consistently delivered on our promise of providing quality communications services to the business community.  And we have delivered on the promise to ourselves and our customers—to be built to last.” -Jim Pisani

We would be remiss if we didn’t say thank you to all those who have helped Impulse grow and continue to evolve today. Thank you to our amazing Impulse team, our loyal customers who have grown with us, and our outstanding partners for continuing to knock our socks off with new communication technologies.
