It’s hard to believe, but Fiesta is once again upon us! This year is especially meaningful, as it is the 90th year of Old Spanish Days Fiesta.
For close to 15 years, Impulse has been a proud sponsor of Fiesta. We believe that it is important to honor local Santa Barbara traditions and history. Impulse is a Titanium level sponsor, and is also heavily involved in volunteering during Fiesta. Every year Impulse has a carriage in the parade, and recently we began offering our employees the opportunity to volunteer by acting as one of the parade Marshals. This year Impulse will have 10 employees volunteering as Marshals in the parade. We are so humbled by the spirit of volunteerism that lives within our Impulse employees, thank you to everyone who has participated!
In addition to our Titanium level sponsorship and employee participation, Impulse’s CFO, Greg Wilson, serves on the board of Old Spanish Days.
We look forward to this year’s Impulse sponsored Receptión Del Presidente, held once again at the beautiful DoubleTree Resort. This event serves as a reception for El Presidente Dennis F. Rickard and also honors past presidents and the traditions of Fiesta. The 2014 Junior Spirit and Spirit of Fiesta will also perform, which is always exciting to watch!
But perhaps our favorite part of Fiesta is Los Dignatarios. What makes this event special is that Impulse has the opportunity to invite our customers to the event, and give them the opportunity to meet local dignitaries, experience the spirit of Fiesta, and even say hello to a few of the zoo animals.
Santa Barbara is such a special place, and Fiesta is one of the many reasons that we are glad to be a part of this amazing community.
