3rd Generation Polycom VVX Media Phones Overview

Impulse announces the release of the next generation of the Polycom VVX Series!

This new release of Polycom phones is the 3rd generation of the Polycom VVX Series.  Features like Polycom HD Voice, color LCD displays, and USB and Gigabit Ethernet ports are what keeps the Polycom VVX Series as one of the most popular lines of business phones on the market.  The new sleek design looks great on your desk while being ergonomic to use with an entire corner of the dial pad dedicated for the mute button.

As one would expect, the phones can all connect to a new VVX Expansion Module (Sidecar) and the Polycom VVX D60 Wireless Handset.  The USB ports can be used for call recording (or for just charging your cell phone) and all models are compatible with the standard Polycom EHS cables for headsets.

Below is a short description of each of the new models:

The Polycom VVX 450 is the largest of the new generation.  It features a 4.3″ color LCD display, has 12 line keys, 2 USB ports for media and storage applications, Gigabit Ethernet Speed, and all the networking and communications features that makes Polycom Impulse’s go-to desk phone.Polycom VVX 350

Polycom VVX 350

The Polycom VVX 350 is a great mid-level VoIP phone.  Similarly to the VVX 450, the VVX 350 has 2 USB ports for media and storage applications, Gigabit Ethernet Speed, and all other features that come with a Polycom VVX Series phone.  The color LCD display measures 3.5″ with 6 line keys to the left.Polycom VVX 250

Polycom VVX 250

The Polycom VVX 250 is the smallest of the new VVX line.  It gives you a 2.8″ color LCD display with 4 line keys, 1 USB port for media and storage applications, and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports.  The VVX 250 is great for a lobby phone, a go-bag, a classroom phone, etc.
