Jessie Bryan Promoted to Vice President of Engineering

Impulse has been going through some exciting changes this year, first with the addition of our new office in Chicago and now with the well deserved promotion for Jessie Bryan to Vice President of Engineering here at Impulse.  Jessie previously held the position of Director of Engineering with Impulse Advanced Communications since December 2005 and he originally joined Impulse back in 2000 as a Systems Administrator and later held the position of Systems Manager before assuming responsibility for the entire systems engineering group.

As leader of the company’s systems administration and engineering efforts, he pioneered the company’s hosted Voice over IP service and most recently led the development of the company’s Next Generation Internet access products.

In his new role as VP of Engineering, Jessie will oversee all Network Administration and Engineering groups, including the operation of the Impulse ClearStar Platform.  He also holds the less official title of “Bug Marshal for ClearStar” and “Master Troubleshooter for the ClearStar Network”.  In addition to this, Jessie beta tests software products related to ClearStar in order to gain Impulse early access testing and is constantly researching, developing, and innovating new technologies for ClearStar which enables new features for our customers.
