Aseva Helps CMC Rescue with Fiber & VoIP Transition

As a business who is actively committed to giving back to our local Santa Barbara community, we are proud to provide our services to another company with similar core values.

For more than 35 years, CMC Rescue has provided quality products to meet the unique need of rescue professionals.  CMC Rescue is an employee-owned company and are globally recognized as a leading manufacturer of rescue and work-at-height equipment.  Located in Goleta, the company has garnered a strong and loyal following amongst its users through its unwavering commitment to quality, service, and education.

CMC Rescue recently moved into a new building and have done an amazing job transforming the facility to match their unique company culture.  One of the most impressive things to experience is their large manufacturing floor, where employees are hand-sew life saving rescue equipment.  Who knew that kind of thing was taking place right here in Goleta!

CMC Rescue Facility

CMC Rescue has been a client of Impulse’s for over 15 years.  Impulse already provided service at CMC Rescue’s previous location, and they were extremely pleased with how easy Impulse made this enormous transition for the company.  To just pick up their phone system and router, and plug it into the new location,  without requiring any change in IP addresses or phone numbers, was “an impressive feat, to say the least!”

Impulse provided CMC Rescue with a 15Mbps fiber connection, a backup T1 and a PRI for voice.  In addition to this, Impulse also provided our managed failover solution that routes data out of the fiber and voice out of the T1, but will automatically provide cross-failover sending data out the T1 or voice out the fiber in the event of a circuit issue.

We hope CMC Rescue enjoys their amazing new headquarters and that our services help their company continue to grow and succeed in the future.
