ClearStar Feature Highlight: Voicemail-to-Email

How can your Voicemail save you time and enhance your productivity?  Well, if you have our cloud based VoIP phone system, ClearStar, one way you can save time is by using our Voicemail-to-Email feature.

What it does: With ClearStar, voicemails are sent to your email inbox as an audio .wav file attachment.  You’ll know exactly when you received a voicemail via push email to your smartphone and can quickly determine who it’s from by the subject line.

Voicemail to Email

How this makes your life easier:  You no longer have to call in, go through the voicemail menu and listen to each voicemail in the order it was received.  Instead, you can visually look at all voicemails in your email inbox, and pick the most important one that you need at that time.

Other cool features:

  • You can then listen to your voicemails on your computer speakers or your smartphone.
  • You can forward the email with the .wav attachment to anyone and type a message to them asking for follow up.  Talk about a time saver!
  • You can drag the voicemail file into a different email folder to archive for use later.

The Voicemail-to-Email feature is available on all standard and enhanced ClearStar accounts and can be turned on via your web-portal at clearstar.impulsevoip.net or by simply calling Impulse support at 805-456-5800.
